First up, they released the quite superb Puremax 2, the successor to the original Puremax, which instantly became my favourite pod kit for its flavour, performance and looks, and now they have brought out the Puremax Q, a dinky box style pod kit, which takes all of the latest tech and packs it into a compact and simple kit which will be awesome for new vapours looking for the very best vape with no complications, and seasoned old hands who want something rock solid for a daily driver.
Unboxing, Specs, and First Impressions
SXmini have kept with the understated theme for the packaging of the Puremax Q, and like the device itself, it is a compact presentation. Despite the diminutive size, they still manage to pack in all of the information so you can see all the impressive features listed.
Where the original Puremax and the Puremax 2 are both inline devices, the Puremax Q has gone for a more side by side style, so on one side you have the battery section, and on the other you have the pod section along with the control button and the lights which show your setting and battery levels. Despite the change in form factor, it is still unmistakably a Puremax. On the side is an airflow slider, which is quite firm so you can be safe knowing it ain’t going to move and lose your setting, and finally on the bottom is the charging port.
In the box you get everything you need to get vaping fast (apart from e-liquid of course). First up you get the device itself safely protected in a foam insert. This insert also separates the Puremax Q from the extras which include two different driptips, a pod, a USB-C cable, and the instruction booklet which is very clearly written.
