The Smok Nord 50W Kit is the latest addition to the growing “Nord” family.
The Nord family are pretty fertile as there seems to be so many versions now – from the original Nord Kit, to the Nord 2, Nord X, Nord 4 
What Is New For The Smok Nord 50W Kit?
It is getting quite confusing telling the difference between all the Nord kits nowadays and they have seemed to move away from the high resistance starter kit MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping side and more towards lower resistance.
For example this kit includes a 0.23ohm and 0.6ohm coil – both not really suitable for high nicotine or nic salt liquids – more tailored towards low nicotine and higher VG e-liquids used in Direct to Lung (DTL) kits.

The one bit of good news for those who want a starter kit is that this device is compatible with a lot of coils.
Included in the kit are 2 pods which are compatible with the LP2 range of coils and the Nord coil range. Also you can purchase separately a pod which allows you to use the RPM range of coils. So this is pretty versatile for coil choice.
The airflow is also adjustable which means you can find a suitable airflow setting for your choice of coil.
Inside the mod is a 1800mAh battery which is recharged via the USB Type C port at up to 1.2A max.
The fire button is used for turning the device on and off, firing and also adjusting the output from 5-50W.
A screen is provided but the size is not specified and an LED in the centre of the fire button also gives status indications.
