The Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO kits are two new releases.
The Lost Vape Centaurus range of devices are designed to be high quality. We have reviewed quite a few including the Centaurus DNA250C, Centaurus Quest BF, Centaurus Quest Q200 and the Centaurus Quest Q80 Pod kit.
Details of The Lost Vape Centaurus B60 & B80 AIO Kit:
This is an “AIO” device which stands for “All In One”. Basically this means the tank, battery and control system are all located within the same device.
This uses removable tanks and there are two options – the UB AIO Pod and the Centaurus Boro tank.
The mod has an “old school” box design made of “Seamless Zinc Alloy”.
Removable front and rear panels give acces and you can replace these with others to customise the look.
Behind the front panel you will see the 0.42in OLED screen and adjustment buttons. There is also a USB Type C port.
Inside the rear panel is where the tank lives and (depending on the tank installed) is where you adjust the airflow.
The main difference between the two models is the power input and output.
The B60 has an internal 1600mAh battery and the output is specified as 5-60W. However the B80 uses a removable 18650 battery (which is not included) and the output is 5-80W.
Another difference is the kit contents. The B80 kit includes the Centaurus Boro tank, whereas the B60 only has the UB AIO Pod. Both models are compatible with both tanks.
Also the location of screen and buttons varies between the two with the B60 having them mounted on the side and the B80 concealing them behind the panel.
A Quest chipset is the brains of the mod – giving you Smart (Normal) and full Variable Wattage (RBA) modes.
UB AIO Pod Option
This pod uses stock coils (coil heads) from the Lost Vape UB Ultra coil range.
The B60 kit includes the 0.2ohm M7 coil and the 0.3ohm M6 coil. In the B80 kit you will get the 0.2ohm M7 and the 0.15ohm M8.
In standard format this has a 5ml capacity, but for TPD regulated areas this is reduced to 2ml.
The fill port is located on the side of the pod so you can access it by just removing the side panel of the mod.
At the base of the pod is the airflow adjustment ring to tailor the airflow to suit your preference.
Centaurus Boro Tank Option
This is included in the B80 kit and is also compatible with the B60 kit where you would have to purchase it separately.
It has a single coil build deck with two posts.
Airflow pins are provided to help create the precise airflow restriction you prefer.
As with the pod, in standard format this has a 5ml capacity, but for TPD regulated areas this is reduced to 2ml.
Plus the side fill port means you can refill this without removing the tank, simply remove the side panel of the mod to access.
